Bob Aloneissi
B.A., LL.B.

Early in his legal education, Bob showed an aptitude for criminal law winning the prestigious Juris Radze Award for outstanding academic achievement in advanced criminal law. As a law student, he also defended numerous cases with Student Legal Services and quickly built a solid reputation.

In 1987, Bob articled to Brian A. Beresh Q.C further cementing a strong foundation for the skills necessary to become a prominent defence lawyer. In 1995, he became a partner in the firm and has also served as the Managing Partner.

Now, most of Bob's clients consist of referrals both from other lawyers and previous clients who recognize his proficiency in handling difficult cases, and trust Bob to vigorously and properly defend them.

He is a member of the Criminal Trial Lawyers Association, The Advocates' Society, and The International Criminal Defence Attorneys Association. Bob enjoys teaching and has taught criminal law and procedure to articling students through the Law Society of Alberta's Bar Admission course for over 10 years. More recently, since 2010, he has taught Criminal Trial Procedure at the University of Alberta Faculty of Law.
